Why doesn't the "Click to Listen" link work for me?
There was recently an update to Windows Media Player that has rendered it unable to play online MIDIs; there's no fix for this, so we highly recommend that you download Quicktime (it's free) and set it as your default MIDI player. If you're not sure how to edit the defaults on Quicktime, contact our staff and we'll walk you through it. If you have a player that functions properly, check and see if your speakers are plugged in, receiving power, and turned on. If you pass all of these checks, then contact our Support staff -- we might have made a typo in the link or some other similarly embarassing mistake.

Why won't the midi music play on my site?
It's possible that the site you're on doesn't allow midi music. Subeta is one of these sites, unfortunately. If you're certain that midi music is permitted, try using the alternate code. If that doesn't work, make sure that your computer is equipped to play midis correctly (Windows Media Player recently stopped supporting the online MIDI function) and that your speakers are plugged in and turned on. If it still won't work, contact our Support staff -- it could be a mistake on our end!

Why doesn't the music have words? (Why don't you use MP3s?)
The music doesn't have words because we use .mid (midi) format for our music. While we understand that MP3s are quite popular, we avoid them for a number of reasons. MP3s not only take an extremely long time to load because of large file sizes, but they are also almost always illegal to distribute; if we were to feature MP3s, it could easily result in the shutting-down of our website and a potentially multimillion-dollar lawsuit by the music industry. We do not in any way condone music piracy!

Why can't I see my cursor?
The Firefox browser doesn't support custom cursors, unfortunately. If you're using Internet Explorer and your cursor isn't displaying, then something's wrong; check to make sure you pasted the entire code, and if that doesn't work, notify our staff via email.

Why isn't my Deluxe Mouseover working correctly?
For some reason, some of the Deluxe Mouseovers won't work properly if you are using a semi-transparent table on the page. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do; you can only use one or the other. Sorry!

Why don't some of your Effects work correctly when I try to use them?
Many effects won't work outside of Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher; If you use an alternate browser, then this may very well be the cause of your problem. If you are using Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher and the desired effect is not functioning as it should, you may have conflicting coding or be using them someplace that doesn't permit CSS. If you'd like assistance, feel free to contact our Support staff!

Why don't you feature pre-made layouts?
There are actually a number of reasons why we do not feature pre-made layouts. The biggest is simply that they're unoriginal and not the least bit creative; we'd much rather give some of the components for you to customise your layouts yourself! It's also a lot more bandwidth/data transfer being taken from the site when entire layouts are being featured on a page, and because people are more likely to steal pre-made layouts, that's unfair to us. There are LOTS of other sites that feature pre-made layouts; why don't you go take a peek at some of our associates' sites?

Can I have an email address @mbif.net?
Actually, yes you can! HOWEVER, you need to know that this will only forward any emails sent to your regular email. For example, if your email address is johndoe1234@hotmail.com and you sign up for johndoe@mbif.net, emails your friend send to johndoe@mbif.net will show up in your hotmail inbox. Still, it's pretty nifty, and you don't have to add lots of silly numbers to the end like you would with other email addresses...mostly because we don't have a few million people utilizing our forwarders. It can be kept simple! Just email us to get started.
